I'm wanting to buy the 03+ l.e.d taillights for my 01 neon to go with the srt-4 bumper that i'm getting and I'm wondering how bright are those lights and does anyone think i would get pulled over by the cops even though they say 100% street legal on the website. Thanks

They are bright enough to be legal, and IMO are actually a little brighter then the stockers. They are DOT rated lights, so by law, they cannot give you a ticket for them.

You should be quite alright. I haven't heard of anyone with those getting in trouble with the law.

They are much brighter than stock. They have red reflector surfaces on the inside that are visible from the back and from the side, they have a light visible from the side that has an ON and a Brake Light function like normal taillights (the side bulb isnt LED) The LEDs do not blink/strobe or fade into somethin other than red, the LEDs are also 2 stage so they have ON and Brake functions, and the reverse light area remains white and has a white/silver reflective surface. With that all said they are in NO way illegal. If cadillac and Infinity and other deals can use LEDs than so can we. Light intensity has no bearing on the legality of taillights as long as daytime visibility is not limited (these tails are still very bright in daylight.

You will NOT get in trouble with the cops. They can't pull you over for those tails. If they do, slap them in the face and say "READ THE TAILS, ASSHOLE!" cuz they say DOT approved on them...I think? LoL

Yeah, so make sure you look to see if they say "DOT Approved" before you go smacking police officers, though...
