hey all. just signed up here and thought i'd introduce myself. my name is doug and i live in Kitchener, ontario with my wife and son. i've been a member of neoncanada now for almost 2 years and am currently the chapter director for the Kitchener area.
i currently drive a 2002 chryler neon r/t and am 100% into the show scene, (though i don't get out as often as i'd like anymore since my son was born). this past season, i've won 6 awards so far at shows with one big show left before the end of the season. 3 1st place wild awards, 1 best interior, a 2nd place in class at a DB drag (131.7Db), and a long distance award.
here's some recent pics of the car...

check out my car domain in my sig for more pics and a mod list. don't forget to rate my car and sign my guest book if you visit though. thanks for reading...

thanks for the welcomes and comments so far. (hi aly. how's married life treating you?) the car is still very much a work in progress. some of my future plans are to upgrade the suspension system, motor swap, custom paint, etc...a bunch of smaller things too that i may be able to get accomplished over the winter but time will tell. even though i've just signed up here, i've always found this site to be very useful. again, thanks for the welcome and the comments. they're very much appreciated.

i thought i'd go with the wings west kit for the uniqueness of it up here. there are a lot of nice kits for the neon but not too many people in canada have that kit. i think i've only seen one or two other people in all of canada who have it. i also went with it for it's durrability too. fibreglass is too fragile.

i've only got 2 10" MA Audio competition subs but í don't really have it set up for sound competitions. i only did that one for shits and giggles. it's mainly set up just for show and also for function. i still have over 85% of my trunk volume. here's a couple pics. they're not the best shots of the setup but it was winter and dark...what can i say...

when i'm not showing, there are covers that go over top the subs and the amp to protect and hide everything. i can put just about anything in the trunk with no worries that the equipment will be damaged.

i kinda had to go with the functionality of still having the majority of my trunk. i have a 10 month old son and there's a lot of stuff that has to go with us now when we go anywhere. :P
