when using this gauge do u need to have another hole drilled and tapped for the oxygen sensor? i know u cant just tap into the 03+ ones.....

If you have an actual Wideband....it has it's own special o2 sensor, in which case...yes you would need to have another bung welded in for that sensor.


If using a narrowband gauge, it does not come with a sensor, so that type you just tap into the wire on your existing sensor.

sorry to being this back up from the dead, but im installing a LTH with has 2 bungs already installed...where does the stock O2 sensor go, and where does my Wideband o2 sensor go?? top or bottom??

As long as they're both in the collector I don't think it should matter. I wouldn't think alot would change in a few inches of flow. An open header may be a different matter...IMHO anyway.

nevermind i should have flipped my cat over...there is a bung welded into it...so ill use the top bung on my LTH for the stock o2, the bottom one for my wideband and the one on my car for the other stock o2...woot woot...almost done with my install

The wideband should be installed before the cat for best results.

Wideband should be installed before the Cat. The downstream should be after the cat.
