Quick Question

Post by BigDutch » Thu Nov 02, 2006 1:29 pm

Alright, winter is on my door step. I am going to be putting winters on my 01 Neon R/T. I plan on putting a set of old snowflakes off a Daytona/shadow on my car. They are 15" rims with the same bolt pattern.

My question is, will the rims allow for my calipers? In a sence will they have a problem with rubbing or anything considering that the R/T comes with 16" rims?

I need to know soon, I have the tires and rims sitting. (FYI the rubber is 205/65 r 15)

Thanks
Jordan

Are the R/T brakes bigger than the SXT brakes? I use the same exact rims on my car for the winter. My tires are 205/60R15. Hopefully the 205/65 will fit.

I am pretty sure that is the tire size, they were off my '89 Daytona. I dont know if the brakes are larger or not...

and I have rear disc too...

My fingers are crossed

They should fit as the SRT has larger brakes and they can run 15's

You can run 15s... you probably won't know about the calipers until you pull your wheel off and try to mount. It's not in the size of the wheel it's the offset where the face of the wheel will hit the front of the calipers that could be your problem. If thats the case and it's a very small amount you can get away with buying some spacers to bring the wheel out enough to not hit.
