We're actually talking about it right now to figure out if there's a better way organize some things. Either by maybe making an OT Pic Post section, keep everything thats a picture in the Pic Post section or just put stuff in OT that isn't Neons.

Oh and I'm going to move this to the Board Feedback section just since it's a question about the forum and makes it a little easier so I don't skip by it whenever I get on.

I like the idea of a OT Pic Post section...

That way the picture post can be Neon related material only.
OT Pic Post section can be OT pics of anything Non Neon related or Non car related...

I'll mod it up.

Like I said, still talking about it right now. To be quite honest right now my fear about an OT pic post section is that there will be people that join and then make 10 threads each day with random stuff they find online just to pretty make get their post count up

I like the idea of an OT Pic Post as well, putting all the non-Neon stuff in OT is insane.

I guess that means you cannot post pictures of YOUR own non-neon. But if you found a picture on a website and claim its not yours but it really is, then you are good as gold.

I think all non-neon vehicles should be posted in off-topic.

That seems kinda rediculous to me...I think the picture section should be changed from strictly Neons to all vehicles. That way when other people join up who don't have Neons don't feel "pushed aside" by having their pictures moved to Off-Topic. It would seem much more of a welcoming community that way, even though I do realize yes, we are mainly a Neon car forum. That's just my .02. Or maybe even split the Picture section in two, Neon Pictures, Other Vehicles, and random pictures could just be posted in off topic like they usually are anyways.

Yeah, I'm sorry for the confusion on moving the posts... After I moved a couple of them, I realized that there were quite a few threads of people showing off their 'relatives' cars. Sorry for the power trip.

I think it should either stay the way it is or there should be an OT pic post. The OT pic post is kind of weird though, it's like other cars are being segregated.

I vote to leave it the way it is. You haven't had any complaints about it the way it is now have you?

i think you should make a non neon picture post. mostly because i would be too lazy to go through all the off topic threads to find the car pictures. when i think off-topic, i think of politics and random bullshitting not cars so id never think to go there for pictures of cars?

I think a non neon picture post is a good idea...but at the same time, why cant they just go in picture post. Most people clearly label what its a picture of, or if its not a neon.

The biggest thing is...this is a NEON forum, now some members have moved on to other things and are still valuable here due to there info, but on a NEON forum most users would think in a picture post its going to be a NEON and not a honda.....
Doing the split might help others to know if there looking for NEON pics and not just random volvo pics....

True...but Im not the only one that posts pics of other things. There are plenty of us that have cars other than neons, but yet we still have neons, or just like the people and atmosphere. I just feel they will get lost in the OT section.

Okay, how about it be kept the way it is since no one has a big problem with it how it is now. If it must be made in the future have a subforum for non-neon related pictures that it's not completely seperate as it's still in the pic post forum?

Yeah, being called the Picture Post is what it's for... Posting pictures. I'll claim that it was my fault that this was brought up because I was just having a grumpy morning going through topics quickly and said to myself, "Good Lord, this is a Neon forum." And then thought that maybe the posts should be moved to the Off-Topic since they weren't Neon related.

My apologies, I didn't read into it very much. It makes sense, though - If you have pictures to post, even if it is of your aunt's cows, they would go in Picture Post.

I think...

I would say leave everything as it is, for now, Jason.

Not to drag this topic back up as it seems to be resolved, but coming from a mod that comes across as a pretty crappy attitude. Go to most any other car forum's picture section and you'll see plenty of different cars, not just the forum specific car. Hell, even the .org isn't that strict.
