02+ factory cd radio to 2000 neon ??

02+ factory cd radio to 2000 neon ??

can I put a 02+ factory radio in my 00 neon ? I know the plugs are different but can I just connect the wires to the right pin ? Found a good deal on ebay but nothing for a 00 model.
