Where can I find an engine

Hey guys/girls-

I am wondering if there are any good sites for complete engines/transmissions. I've gone the ebay way, and there isn't much out there. I'm wanting to do a manual conversion on my '00. If you know anything I'd appreciate the info. Thanks.

I know my local junk yard can get you a used neon engine for $400 with tranny. The motor comes with a one year warrenty and if the engine doesn't work right when u put it in they send u another free. All you have todo is drop off the old engine.

My buddy bought a 96 neon with a bad crankbearing for $100 and we bought a whole 00 engine for $400 from the junk yard with 40k on it. The car runs like a dream now

Dane, check with pasco auto wrecking. they had a couple 2nd gens lasttiem i was there, but i dunno if they have the motors/trannys for them. they were both 5 speeds though if im not mistaken. the number is (509) 547 7242

what kinda engine you want? i got a sohc out my 2000 w/ atx tranny. let me know if you want it....

www.car-part.com searches the inventory of junk yards across the country. You can refine your search to your local area too.

hes wantign to do a MTX swap refect. buit do a motor trans all at once kinda deal i believe.
