Well, for one, tie-off method = no blood
MANY people have successfully split there own tongue. Either with a scapel, or the tie-off.

I doubt I'll do it myself, but if I do, I'll post TONS of pictures.

And no, here in toledo, i don't know anyone that does it.

So, finally got to talk to my oral surgeon... to be blunt, I didn't have the balls to ask him about it.

He didn't seem to happy that I have piercings in the first place, and I actually have to take out ALL my facial piercings when I go to get my wisdom teeth cut out. Shitty....

I've been sitting here the past couple of hours, researching doing it myself. If I pierce my tongue and bind it, it'll take about 2 months total. A month to heal the initial piercing, then another month to do the actual binding. *twitch* That's to long though...

So, time to start researching for shops to do it. I'm actually considering having one of my piercing buddies do it... but I'm not a 100% certain though. (wow... i actually have sweaty palms thinking about doing all of this.... :?)

Reguardless, if I bind it, or get it cut, I'll be taking pictures and videos of the process.

I'm not posting to get talked out of it... I'm posting just to let everyone know.

It's like you posting to say your not a racist, but let make racist comments every other thread.

Sorry, but I take SERIOUS offense to anyone posting to tell me not to do it.

well i didnt read the begginng and i dont care if you take offense or not its a free country and you have every right to do it and i have every right to say it'll look retarded.....and please explain how im a racist? ask krackstar if he thinks im a racist and see what he says.....just because i made a few references to race doesnt make me a racist....and correct me if im wrong, but does saying that DC won the black community over with the new line up of 300c, charger, and magnum make me a racist? thats stating the facts, not being racist....at least here in chicago, i do not know a SINGLE white person that owns a magnum, but i know 6 black families with one....im not racist and i dont care if you think i am....i know im not and God knows im not and i dont care what you think about it

Alright, I see this going bad VERY fast.

bad01neon: I apologize. Simple as that. I just notcied that you went on a huge tangent about not being a raciest, but I notice alot of your posts have something to do that seperates whites from blacks. I'll stop there. If you want to discuss more, PM me. Let's take this out of threads.

Krackstar: Yea, your right. It is ironic. But I made ONE comment out of 1,5xx posts that involved something like that. If you become offended, I apologize.

To this thread, Jason, do me a favor and either delete it all together or lock it. I was dumb for even mention on the board that I was going to do such a thing. I should of known 9 times out of 10, people just don't understand. I'll be PMing you about it here in a sec...

I've had a VERY frustrating day of my hard drive not working, my computer screwing up, things just generally not going my way, so on and so forth, and just kind of snapped a little.

I'll just try and be the bigger man and step away and stop mentioning any thing that people may think I'm crazy for.

Opi's Suspension/Flesh Pull thread. *aka Opi is an odd one*

Post by Mr Josh Zombie » Sun May 13, 2007 10:31 pm

Yes, TNK gave it away. I did a suspension last night at the i-Rock in detroit. It was a very last minute thing. There were a set of performers there, and I over-heard that someone had backed out of the suspension. I spoke up, and said I'd happily do it.

I've been wanting to be suspended for YEARS and years. This is the perfect time in my life to do it as well, becuase so much has been going wrong.

A little run down of what happened. I did a 4 point suicide suspension. That means I had 4 four gauge hooks pierced through my back. The pain wasn't bad when they did it. Just made me cringe a little, and it was over.

I then went out to the cage where we were doing it. I had all four hooks strug up to the rig above me. The piercers made sure I was comfortable, that the weight was equal on all hooks. They stepped out of the cage.

The guy pulled on the rig and lifted me a bit. I walked around, kind of pulling on it a bit. I told him to go up little by little. I was walking on my tippytoes. The crowd started to roar, so I told him to take me all the way up, and my feet were off the ground. It's a feeling I can't describe, and something none of you will ever understand.

I was in the air for about 5 minutes, hanging, spinning, just having a good time. They let me down, and i still felt like i was floating. I felt that way for hours actually. It was truly a euphoric moment.

I have one hook in my neon, one in the escort, one of my neck, and one of my keys. It was seriously one of the greatest nights of my life.

Here are some cell phone pictures. It's the best that I can do until the camera guy uploads all the images. If you guys want to see more, then I'll post.

Check that article if you want to learn more guys. It's impossible to explain if you can't understand or accept the culture I choose to live in.

But needless to say, it was the most life changing moment of my life

Josh... WOW, I have to let you know I think what you did was absolutely awesome. I saw a documentary a few years ago on that sort of suspension, and was blown away that there was anything like it. I’m very happy for you that something GOOD finally went your way, you've totally deserved it. Props man, very cool!
