Bad Turbo??

Seeing as I'm still having my problems boosting after the srt swap i took the turbofold apart and looked inside and found this.

sorry for the bad text in the pics. the first one says "the black lines are scratches on the ring/seal"

the second one says "this ring/seal slides in and out and contacts the turbine"

Is this normal or is my turbo shot?

BTW, I'm boosting 0psi!! Hooray for me!

Dynoed 102hp and 154tq.

If you have noticable play its probably junk...
The last early dodge turbo I had gave out tons of play but still generated 36psi of boost....
If you dont create atleast 20psi overboosted its junk....

Well my problem is that I dont produce ANY boost, as in 0, zilch, nada boost!

I replaced the WGA and even hooked the turbo outlet straight up to the WGA like you would w/ an aftermarket WGA and still 0 boost. This leads me to believe the turbo is crap. I dont even hear the damn thing spool.

This is probably a stupid question....but have you by chance started the car with the turbo intake pipe disconnected, and looked in the inlet to see if the blades are turning? They will be spinning even at idle.....

Even if the turbo is blown......it's weird that you are producing 0 boost........

Yeah I tried that. they were spinning but once i gave it a little bit of gas they didnt spin much faster. I'm just going to try swappng it out for another, the seller is sending me another turbo anyways. It does have have some shaft play as well.
