soooooo..... as some of you have noticed, as of midnight last friday (the 21st), there were some new opening pages to the 2gn.org website. for those of you who didn't click around on all the pages, no we didn't get hacked. if you missed it and would like to check it out, you can still see it here: http://2gn.org/old/
this came about when jason (diablo0) was discussing a want for some new opening content on the 2gn website with me. we talked for a little bit on it, and he asked me if i could take some time of my VERY busy schedule (be unemployed is hardwork, phew) to put this idea into place. i agreed to do it, asked what he wanted, and since he didn't really give me any ideas i made that page with the beautiful text and images as a complete joke. i showed this new site to brian (mopar00neon), who then suggested that jason should put it up to see if anyone would freak out thinking the site was hacked. jason pondered it, i pleaded with him to do it for shits and giggles, and after a lot of pestering he put it up.
while all that was occuring i worked on a good version of the site with some actual content (more than just my idiotic ramblings done poorly with the paintbrush), and now that it is for the most part complete, it's taken the place as the new opening site for the forums. you can check it out by clicking over to http://www.2gn.org. there's a link to the forums from there, a page with all the 2gn related wallpapers available for download, a page with links to affiliates and sponsors, and a page with a brief description of how 2gn.org came to life. so if you haven't already checked it out, i suggest you do so now.
