Day after thanksgiving sale

anyone in here work in the retail business. I know ill be working tomorrow at good old Verizon Wireless. Not until 2 tho, so i might go out and try to get some stuff for cheap. Anyone else planning on going out???

Any suggestions where i might be able to pick up some tires for a good price, and what kind should i get. My tires are kinda bald now.

alot of stores in my area are actually opening up at midnight tonight and staying open all night and all day... so for all of us night owls can get out and avoid the lines and shit and get on with it

I'm not going anywhere. I'll be here monitoring my Cafepress store. I'm dropping prices pretty heavily for Black Friday... I dunno if it'll get more hits than usual, but if it does, people are going to be getting killer deals on my stuff.

psh....im going to best buy tonight (thursday) at 10pm and waiting for it to up at 5 am (friday)......ya i know its crazy but i do it every year so for me not to do it it would be crazy.....its more than the sales me and a bunch of friends that all go to different schools get together each year and it gives us like 7 hours to catch up

I work midnights 10 - 6:30 at Wal-Mart. But, my store is 24hrs so there won't be as many people busting down the door and walking on top of each other. I guess we gotta roll the sale merchandise out with tarps on it and then uncover it at 5 a.m. and get outta the way.

I got lucky last year and cut in front of everybody right when the doors opened to Circuit City. I don't know if I am gonna do it this year though. I see some really good deals but its stuff I really don't need. If I go anywhere it will be Target to get this 19'' LCD HD ready tv for $180 then I can take my HD 15'' monitor I use for my 360 and use it as a computer monitor. People waiting in line on Thanksgiving Day for hours on end... is just insane. I could never do that, and I feel sorry for the people that actually do stuff like. No offense to anyone. Just my view.

Cut in front of those losers! The problem getting in isn't bad at all. But paying for your stuff and waiting in line is another story...

One year, I stood in line for half an hour to get the $10 Sears Reward Card. If I can get my ass out of bed, I'll do that again this year. Hell yeah, 30 minutes is worth $10...and Craftsman kicks ass!

I did a bit of shopping once I clocked out at work. Scored a 1 gig SD card for $13 and a Gameboy Micro for $40.

People are just plain dumb... okay... Sears. They have who knows, probably 5 entrances into the store and what do people do, line up all at one door to get in. I can go to another door, right on the next side of the building and walk right in with not one line. Then you get in and there are 10 check-out kiosks through the floor and huge lines everywhere. Whats this though... appliances doesn't have checkout kiosks but they can ring you up and there isn't one person in line there. I spent probably 5min checking out compared to other people standing in line for an hour. Or ya know what... you go downstairs to the clothing department away from tools and electronics and what do you know, small lines there too

Other than the massive amounts of people I spent probably 5min checking out. Now Circuit City that was different

Every checkout area was packed and it took probably 30-45min to get through the line. Target wasn't bad, actually didnt' have to wait in line at all...

Really good deals out there though like a 1GIG thumb drive for $3.50 but those were gone more than it opened, that and the Mio Navi unit that was only $150 compared to $300-400+ regularly. Oh and yah... I love this no-tax days here in SC today and tomorrow

I think it's time for a nap

I'm trying to stay awake with two large cups of Starbucks coffee and it's starting to lose it's effect where I wanna just throw my head to one side and pass out on the floor lol.

Slept in, only thing I would of went out early for is a nice HDTV but I couldn't bring myself to go wait in line to spend that much money. Instead I'll probably order my chin spoiler and rear diffuser before the day is over.
