I was wondering......Since our TB are spaced away from the manifold.....would it make any difference in power if i cut the distance in half?

Moving the Throttle body closer won't change performance.

Manifold runner size and length are what improve performance. That's why the manifold designers dusted off the ram intake manifold technology of the 1950s-60s and updated it with electronic controls and manifold tuning valves.

Sorry to dissapoint.

not trying to ignore your theory's cause i would only assume it wouldn't change performance, but lastnite i did it, i think the stock length is 7inchs, i cut mine down to about 2.5inch, from what i felt, it seemed like it was a bit more willing to rev higher...
i.e i usualy shift at like 5700ish, and now i was able to go past 6 pretty easy......i know its a lame comparison of the differences, but no chance of a dyno...so asmuch as i was expecting nothing...i actually felt sumthing....best way is to try it out yourself
