Check your codes using the On-Off-On-Off-On process.

Stick Key in, turn to the on position, then off, then on, off, on then a PXXXX number will appear where the odometer is. Once you get the code look it up here http://forum.2gn.org/viewtopic.php?t=365

That'll give some of us a better idea whats going on to help you out.

this is what it pulled : P1299(M) Vacuum Leak Found (IAC Fully Seated) MAP Sensor signal does not correlate to Throttle Position Sensor signal. Possible vacuum leak.

There are some various small hoses running from your throttle body and intake manifold. Check those hoses to make sure none have came lose and fallen off or that none of them are cracked. If one of those is cracked, broken, or came off, you would lose some vacum in the intake system causing you to throw that code and possibly cause the problem you are having.

Also, there is a sensor ontop of your throttle body called the IAC (Idle Air Controller), check to make sure that is not loose and make sure it is seated down on the TB all the way. That sensor may have went bad, if everything looks ok you may need to replace that sensor with a new one or pulling one off a neon in a salvage yard. Others might have more ideas though before doing all that though.

Look at the flexible air tube between the throttle body and the intake manifold for a hole/tear.

The controller limits engine speed to prevent engine/vehicle runaway due to a massive air leak. The air leak DTC is from engine speed/load and throttle position not matching and the idle air control DTC is from the controller closing it first to protect the engine, then going into the protection mode.

Let us know what ya find.

Take the tube off the engine and flex it. Hold it up to a strong light and look for holes as ya bend and twist it.
