i have been looking at getting the VENOM 400 piggyback computer. It looks pretty cool. It turns only when you drive hard. It is also much cheaper than an A/FX unit.
Has anybody used this computer? or the Jet version?

stay away from the jet computer. it is complete junk. it has been tried a few times with the same junk results, search for jet computer and you will see what i mean.
i dont know anything about the venom though

I like the Venom, wish I had another one, I got it for free, installed it, it did nothing, and then I sold it on Ebay for $300...soooo yeah, I like the Venom 400..can I have yours when you decide to throw it away?

the jet reprogramming thing was tried also, and people found that they were basically paying for a jet sticker on the computer.

i sell both the jets and venoms at my part time. I agree with the other guys. the jet is worthless unless you like stickers. the venom pretty much tricks the computer into thinking you are at about 25% more throttle than you are. If you'd like that i'd just step into your throttle about 25% more. It tricks the voltage going to the pcm fromyour map and tps and increases them accordingly the same as if you were to step on it a little more.
