Pro-Live vs. Pro-Choice

Post by Mr Josh Zombie » Tue Dec 05, 2006 9:40 am

So, since in the other thread a lot of people were really gritting there teeth to not express there beliefs on the debate, I figured we could all let it out here and have a healthy discussion. (By the way, I personally want to thank everyone for not preaching to lvlistchif about his first choice of abortion)

Mods, if you think this topic will get out of hand, feel free to lock it when-ever.

I'll start off with my views on the subject.

I, personally, am Pro-choice.
Now I could never, ever have a child aborted. I just wouldn't be able to live with myself at all. I'd MUCH rather have the child be born, and given up for adoption. I would just feel to horrible about the situation, and I could never force my significant other to go through that.

Now, I don't care what others do. If someone can live with the guilt of it, then so be it. It is in no way my place to judge what people do in this situation. It doesn't make you any more or less of a person in my eyes. As long as they can live with the guilt of killing off an un-born child, then so be it. I'll never pass judgment on them for this. Unless, of coarse, they are constantly getting abortions... then I feel they should just have there uterus ripped out and fed to them. (When I say constantly, I mean 3 or more times a year.... or just generally a high number in there life.) I just simple feel some people on this earth shouldn't breed in the first place anyways.

I'll stop there and leave the rest open for discussion.

Pro-choice.
I'd abort it. Personally I'd feel more guilty giving it up for adoption because one day he/she might find out that who their living with isn't their real parents.

I am Pro-choice. I just do not think it is right for a women when she is rapped or impregnated by incest to have to carry that child. Also, if the government bans all abortions, who will pay for all of the kids that will be going into foster care?? I have learned many great things from my father who is State Senator currently.

So i'll be the first Pro-Life voice in the topic...

Abortion is horrible, have you ever actually SEEN what they do to those unborn children? Did you konw that one form of Abortion, they LITERALLY RIP IT APART!? How would you feel if it was legal for someone to just come up to you and rip you apart, literally? (though i do think the "morning-after" pill is OK)

I like Opi will never judge anyone for deciding to go with an abortion because it's not my place to judge anybody, and that's their decision, not mine.

BTW. I think you have foster care and adoption mixed up bro. Foster care is temporary and is usually for orphaned or trouble kids, NOT for babies given up for adoption. Adoption is perminant, and the person or couple who adopt are 100% responsible for that child as if it was their own.

And as for a child finding out they were adopted...if they're good parents, who cares? I have friends who are adopted, and know they are adopted, and dont care, they're just happy the way things are and dont wish they never were.

Back to the main topic of discussion though.Murder is Murder is Murder, i dont care HOW you look at it or what name you call it, it's still murder. Does that unborn baby have a pulse? can you see that it's a human shape!?

Let me find some more graphic pictures of what abortion really does.....i'm not posting them as images, link only, too horrific...

http://www.depraved.com/abort1.jpg
http://www.depraved.com/abort4.jpg
http://www.depraved.com/abort6.jpg

I think thats enough...

Now then, let those images be forever burned iinto your memory. If you can live with that for the rest of your life, then go ahead, have an abortion.......

Pro-choice to a point, depending on how far into the pregnancy the woman is.

I'd have to agree with that statement and Opi. I couldn't ask my girlfriend, wife, whoever to have it done b/c I couldn't live with myself but past that what someone else does thats their own business since it's their life, not mine. If they want to carry that on their shoulders though life, good for them but myself, I couldn't and would never want to. I'd rather spend every wakin minute making sure the child was living a good and happy life like a father should and not have something like an abortion haunt me.

BTW, as long as the thread stays civil it'll stay open. If it gets out of hand then it will be locked so please, everyone, keep it civil.

Pro-Choice--Pro LIFE.

This is a difficult topic. so many variables to consider.
No child is conceived without a divine purpose from GOD!!! Period.
However some ways pregnancy happens are less desirable. IE rape, incest etc. There is always adoption in these cases, there are people everywhere that can't have children for one reason or another that are more than willing to adopt these babies and give them loving homes.
another thing I look at is the risk factor, will the mother or child die during birth. on this instance you might say that its OK. Its Not. (This is a tough one for me)
I don't condone abortion, But I'm also not going to judge someone because of their choice. God gave us free will, its up to us to seek out what is right.
As mentioned above, If you can live with it. its your choice.
we all have to live and answer for our Choices.
I feel we all deserve a shot for life.

I'm Pro Life. Its not my place to judge , just to inform.

Oklamopar. Not tryin' to prech , Just how i belive.

I don't know if I can really say I'm one or the other. I do know that it really upsets me when I hear about people getting an abortion. I could never, and would never, under no circumstances (even rape) get an abortion. It's not the child's fault you didn't take precautions, and if you did, it's not the child's fault those precautions failed. It's also not the child's fault that some man raped you, or you couldn't keep your legs closed in a drunken one night stand. Maybe that was a bit harsh, sorry if it offended anyone, but that's how I feel.

I am highly against it, as I have my own story about it. Of which I won't share, because of certain reasons that those reading this know. And you know who you are.

While I think it's wrong to do, I wouldn't judge anyone if they did it. It is their decision, and if they want to live with that hanging over their head, then I hope they learned their lesson for the future. If they abuse it, like Opi says, then yes...they need the punishment Opi suggested.

Well iam pro choice (even tho i dont know anymore after looking at thoese images...ewwwww) but i dont like it when i hear from someone that they had multi abortions. One is bad enuff but 2 or more is nasty, i think the ovaries need to come out after the 2nd one cause its like you dont deserve to have kids at that point.

i'm glad someone actually had the guts to look at the images...

that's what happens in an abortion...

the first 3 images are from Suction after only 9 weeks, where the fetus is LITERALLY sucked from the womb through a tube...

the rest are Partial Birth abortions, where the PULL the baby out of the womb, and then suck the tissues out of the head(which the head usually ends up being crushed)...in come cases, the baby is literally pulled apart before being removed from the womb, this is another form of partial birth. So now were not only sucking them through a tube at 9 weeks, now were also ripping their limbs off and then removing those limbs from the womb and sucking the brains out and crushing the skull.........so what are you having for lunch today? do you even still have an appetite anymore???

Sorry for being so graphic about it, but its the truth...

BUT for some people, they dont see it the way I do, and thats their decision...its not something that would make me hate a person.

i am 100% prolife no matter what......and for more description on a partial birth abortion.....they physical go inside the womb, turn the baby upside down so it comes out feet first, leaving just the head in the vaginal cannal to suffocate, then they take a pair of scissors and jam into the baby's neck and open the scissors to cause more damage, then they take the scissors out and stick a vacuum in the hole and suck their fully developed brain out through a tube....please keep in mind that a baby begins to feel touch and pain in less than 3 weeks, so it feels every excruciating second......osama bin laden's men killed 3000 people on 9/11 which is considered the worst US disaster ever......but EVERY SINGLE DAY almost 4000 human babies are killed in the US

Hell no not past nine weeks, I've done a research paper about abortion so I'm no stranger to the images (The one you last posted was actually on my report).

I mean within the first month I'm fully for it. Some way into the second month is where I draw the line and say put it up for adoption.

There are always exceptions though, for instance if the mother-to-be would end up dying if she gave birth.

ooooo, good point! At least there are clinics that will do this in a clean envirioment and in a way that will cause the least amount of damage to the mother.

I've gotta say everyone has wonderful points so far... lets keep this going. I'm honestly surprised no one has tired to kill each other yet.

To be quite honest, I had no idea how an abortion was done. I just knew that I would never do it, and I'm against it. But now that I know how it's done, it just furthers my opinion on it.

I haven't looked at the pics yet, as I just got home. So I might edit my post...

EDIT - Those pictures are horrible. And I have seen some horrible things my life, with more to come I'm sure. It is murder to me, you're taking the life of an innocent, no matter how small.

Exactly. I'd say I'm Pro-Life too, because I could never do something like that. But for the people who do, it's their life, I just know I won't have to live with the memory of doing that for the rest of my life.

So does that make us both?

You'd feel bad about giving the baby up for adoption because one day she might find out?... well if you abort it.. You kill the baby.. you don't let that baby make it's own choice. How do you know they will feel bad?... Go up to her/him and say "We thought about putting you up for abortion because I didn't want you to be mad that you don't live with your real parents"...Then ask the kid if you made the right choice.

I'm sure the kid wants to live.. even if you aren't wanting it.
