cd not turnin on w/ car

Post by neon_ert3 » Thu Dec 14, 2006 2:59 pm

3 weeks ago i got a indash tv. it worked great for 2 weeks then it started not turnin on when i turned the car on. it would turn on about 10-15 mins later or sometimes not at all. so i contacted the place that i got it from and got all there return info and crap. so i put my old cd player in and it does the same exact thing (not as bad tho) and i kno theres nothing wrong w/ my cd player. so im thinkin something is wrong w/ my wires ... idk. when it first started happening i thot it was my batt because the batt was bad and died on me when it started. now i have a yellow top and the same stuff is goin on. anyone know whats goin on?

Check the wires in the back, that may be why your battery died aswell.

the only way i kno how to get to those wires is from behind where tha radio goes and they all look fine. could there be a loose wire in my ignition or something because if i hit a hard bump in the road it will sometimes turn on, or try to atleast. i did have my ignition switch replace about a month ago and my something came loose. im really not sure but it sounds good t me because the radio has power to it because itll beep if i press the on button and it will spit a cd out but it wont stay on

Take it to your local car audi place and have them test your wires. what might be hapenning is you have a lose connection or a wire not getting the amount of power it should.
