Thinking about building fiberglass box... what design?

Post by CA180 » Fri Dec 15, 2006 11:29 am

Sup guys, i'm thinking about building a fiberglass sub enclosure for the trunk... If all goes well, i might make a couple extras.

What kinda design do you guys think would look best. Or what type would you like to see? Any ideas?

I was kinda leaning towards a twelve that fits flush with the floor and sits in the spare tire well.

Let me know what you guys think.

I would prefer the flush in the floor idea... thats just me though. I like clean stuff, and since I am not big into the boom like I used to be, well... one twelve sounds good to me!

Thanks bro..

I was thinking the same thing, plus i like to keep trunk space. I was planning on using a pie pan or something like that to cover the sub when i'm hauling crap. Since my truck is down for now, i do alot of junkyard runs in my neon.

Anyhow, how much interest would there be in something like this? I'm obviously not a vendor or anything, but i would run that by the proper authorities later.

So is the box for the truck or the neon? I'm confused.

Edit: nevermind i'm an idiot. on the first post i read truck instead of trunk.

So instead of the vw logo, you would have a dodge logo, or even a chrysler one.

having 2 different size sub, will have cancelation and will sound like poop.

but i would make like a little wall across the one side of your trunk. if that makes sense. like from where the trunk is open it looks like
(`\___/`) all the way to the back of the seats. sorry it kind of hard to explain. il ltry to find a pic of what im talking about.
