get a laminate or something and put it on the plate. It will make glare and all that and it will be hard for cops to tell what is on it.

Is there a link anywhere with information on these new cameras? Camera's on the freeway might be kind of dangerous. Also, they will be required to post signage of the camera's, and since they are going on the freeway, the signs need to be in an noticable place well before approaching the camera. I think they are required to have them posted approximately 100 feet before approaching a camera inforced intersection. Since its on the freeway, it may need to be placed atleast a 1/8 or even 1/4 mile due to the high speed of traffic.

My guess is that they may not be ticketing, instead they will be sending courtesy notices to inform you that you are speeding. Thats pretty interesting nontheless.

Thanks for the heads up!

that sounds straight outta japan. theyve been doing that for years from what i understand. I dont think it holds up well in court though, but who knows. I dont travel on the freeways much anymore, only 80 for like 3 mins to work everyday. and im too tired to speed at six forty in the morning anyhow haha. thats gay tho, ill have to keep that in mind next time I go to the Bay.

If cameras are monitoring a highway it MUST be posted or its entrapment. This is why the signs that say,"Enforced by Radar" with the little airplane silhouettes are everywhere. I doubt this camera thing is happening. My guess is urban legend until I see an article in the paper or something.
The cameras are of "monitoring" traffic conditions. This is where the local news agencies get their footage from in the mornings and evenings...oh wait...does the traffic EVER end here?

One thing that is a definate:

Missing a front or rear license plate is now a POINT on your RECORD...no more fix-it ticket....Its a friggin' POINT!

If you wanna' see real cameras in action cruise through Fremont. There are intersections there that light up like the 4th of July everytime someone runs a redlight...

"hair of the dog" is a term used to describe using more alchohol to cure a hangover. The very best cure for a hangover is probably V8, Tabasco sauce, and Coors Light. Then tons of water and a trip to the gym.

You called it "taking the dog out"

Ok. its just not even close to funny anymore..

back on topic :D

they had those in hawaii when i was there... it was just a trial thing and they didn't last. the bill didn't pass for them, something about it being against the constitutional rights and shit. but there is a special clear cover that is made for trafic cameras. just do a little bit of research, i'm sure you guys will find tons of stuff.
