really crappy fog so i'll take some more tomorrow nite

these are the 8k HIDs that i got from matt (srt-4store, nitehawk) hopefully the rest of the guys will post pics too :D

mounted the ballasts on the side of the fender with double sided 3m tape. the kit came with screws and bolts, but i prefered the tape.

yeah, i use 3m tape when i do these things too...no holes to rust

looks good :D except for that rats nest you got under the hood... wait nm thats a cluster of wires haha :lol: im just messin with ya just grab them all together and zip tie them up and aside then cover with wire loom. you should see the amount of ghetto ive done to hide wiring like that.

That's exactly where I mounted mine.

Did you actually drill 'em down? I heard someone did. I didn't. I just used some heavy duty double sided tape.

I was able to place the HID's against the side of the fenders aswell . there is a bolt already there from the fender, all i had to do was place the bracket there adn tighten down a nut on the existing bolt.

Looks GREAT and keeps it tidy and dry!

How come your breather tube isn't hooked up?

You need it hooked up to evacuate pressure buildup in your crankcase.

Well, since you rigged a hotter intake onto your throttle body, and now you have no where to hook it up, so your only option now, is to get a breather filter, and hook it up, however you will still have no vacuum signal to the crankcase, which is very bad for your engine, as well as hurts your gas mileage, HP, torque, and will accelerate engine sludge buildup.

Put your stock intake box back on, your engine will thank you in so many ways. Plus, your box runs much cooler than a straight filter in your engine bay.
