SOLD

Post by Flying_NEB » Tue Dec 26, 2006 3:36 pm

Well, here's the deal. I have an 01 RT with 98K miles. It has an iceman intake, SRT Brake conversion which included tie rods to make it fit right, SRT struts/springs, SRT wheels and tires (215/55/17). The tires only have about 5000 miles on them. The car runs great and I've had a lot of fun with it. I just bought the car in Februrary with 87000 miles on it and it was from OH. I replaced the struts/springs/brakes because there were some rust issues. So there could be some stuff I don't know about. I have debadged this car as well as you can see in the pics. There is no major body damage (just the stuff that comes from 98K miles). To my knowledge, no accidents, it is a clean title. It also has the four disc CD, sunroof, leather, and all the other fun stuff.

Now the problem. I managed to spill gas in the trunk. It seeped down under the rear seat and into the floor board of the rear driver's floor. I've taken out the rear seat and rear trunk carpeting and will be taking out the rest of the carpeting. I don't know how "far the rabbit hole goes" in regards to this problem. In my opinion i just needs new carpeting and a rear seat. I have been letting air out, but being in WA I had to close the windows because of rain. I do not have a garage or carport.

I'd like to get $5000. I have the title in hand. I will accept a reasonable offer. My wife and I just can't afford at this point to spend another $200+ on replacing stuff. Some of you might be more handy than me and can get it cleaned up nice for cheap. pm me or email me: lunsford.ben@gmail.com.

Not interested b/c I already have two R/Ts but I'm curious, do you know what part of Ohio it came from?

Ah... okay, only reason I ask is b/c I was looking to buy a black one in the Beavercreek, OH area which is close to Dayon last year for my swap. Doesn't appear to be the same one since it doesn't sound like the same area being that Dayton is more than 1.5 hours away from Cleveland.

Um...it's not that bad. This thing runs great and the body is fine - it's just trying to get the smell out.

Clean up bump -

It smells mostly nice now. I've had a hard time airing it out but I finally got it mosty aired out, baking soda on the floor and vacuumed. The carpeting in the rear is still drying out but it should hopefully be back to normal soon. It's still on the market though so if anyone out there would like it. When I took it out today (for the first time in a few weeks) it felt great. It's real peppy and wants a loving home.
