On the european bumpers are the sidemarkers a removable delete or built into the bumper?

It's just a styling cue on the bumper to follow the lines of the bodyside moldings- there are no sidemarkers as BUX Neons have the repeater turn signals on the front fenders instead.

Hmm maybe Marakka or one of the other EU guys will chime in. I thought that we never decided 100% that these were offered by DCx. Although, they do look good.

I'm almost 100% positive that they're not inserts - They're actually molded in the bumper.

Trust me, they are just a molding on the bumper. The export Neons get the real goodies- the repeater turn signals (which I would kill to have on my SRT).

Are we talking about the same thing?

Image

Aren't those actually molded as one piece with the rest of the front bumper?

Here is a better pic from a UK Neon brochure. You can see that this is just a molding in the bumper, no sidemarker like we have here in the US.

I've never cared for my sidemarkers. I'll be shaving them on the new body setup in March.

.......? you have blinkers dont you? if our side markers flashed with the blinkers like the 1gs did, your statement would make sense.... but we don't, so it doesn't.

The thing in the bumper is just a fake and you can't remove them or replace them with a sidemarker without cutting a hole into the bumper.
The orange light in the european fender is NO sidemarker - its a turn signal (blinker).
If you wanna have blinkers in your fender - just drill a hole...
(Maybe someone of the european drivers could make a picture after removing the fenderblinker - I cannot cause i have aftermarket blinkers from a FIAT...)
