SRT-4 Gas Economy?

Post by streetracerSXT » Tue Feb 08, 2005 10:20 am

How is the SRT-4 on gas? This is under normal driving conditions. I looked up some other stats online, but those are "official" stats, and they always vary from what the car can push out.

You can easily get average gas mileage like around 23-25 if you really wanted to.

for the first couple of xxxx miles.. you will get HORRIBLE mileage... something around 12-14mpg...

i have 24,500 on the car... i get about 22mpg now... but i could baby it a LOT more... when i'm driving like ass... it can go down to about 14-16mpg... but i have accieved 31 mpg on long road trips if i stay around 60mph and cruise it

gas milage formula:

HP + IDIOT = poor milage

HP + mature driver = good milage

drive it like a normal human being and it should get rather good milage, i myself get 35+ on my turbo 03

you could probably go get your "umadbro" polished up to make it look like a new comeback again

you dont have to do much to get the stock srt4 IC to fit a 2gen. just cut the holes next to the radiator for the endtanks to sti k thro. i took ou tmy bumper support for weight savings, and cut out the grill cuz i didnt like the stock look. it wasnt hard, but i did a rather shitty job, if u took your time, u could make it look even better then i did
