I'm gonna get flamed so bad for this, but yours is one of my favorite cars on here, seriously. Stock rims, lip kit, and just some stuff to make the car a little more fun. That's exactly how I like it. Maaaaybe drop it and lose the eyelids, but I'm not being picky. Great job.

Because from what I've seen, there aren't too many people on here that like a stock or near-stock look like I do. 8) On Neons in particular, the lip kit is the exception for me. I like that alot. Other than that, I like a stock looking exterior.

ohhh I see. well youd be surprised, a lot of members on here have started to embrace a clean-built car. unfortunatly there will always be those "all show" type people, but believe it or not, even those people give me props from time to time. I like a little style here and there, but nothing excessive, like silly body kits and the like. Thanks tho jm!

Hey OB, any better pics of your intake and I wonder if you know/remember the K&N Part Number for it, I want a K&N intake, but they list like 5 different products on their site, especially if you look up ones for 2003 instead of 2005. Thx Man.

PROJECT: Custom bellows tube, mild hand-ported TB.

Spent the better part of this evening constructing a custom tube to replace the factory bellows tube, porting the TB, and diagosing a pesky vacuum leak. Havent had a chance to drive it yet, but its running solid and everything is in order. I spent some time tuning the idle via the idle adjustment screw, but its probably going to need a few more tweaks before its perfect.

I hope to see an increase in throttle response, as well as a slightly smoother take off and snap-decel. We'll see how it pans out tomorrow, ill update when I can.

I used two pieces of 2 2/8" I.D. PVC pipe, some rubber hose ends that came with some clamps, and a few standard band clamps. Used my dremel to bore out the TB a bit on each side, but the tb is damn near the same I.D as the pipe I used, so it worked out well.

So far I havent noticed a huge difference, but I didnt expect one. Things feel a bit smoother, but overall the difference is minimal. Its the collection of these simpler projects that makes the overall car perform better, so a single mod like this isnt going to change much.

Hells yeah! I'm thinking about getting a longer glasspack. Mine is only 25"...I'd like to get at least a 31" and hopefully that will tone down my exhaust a little. It gets annoying sometimes.

Ive been running the midpipe to dump setup for months now, and you think yours is loud! This is what my gf is running with her srt rear section and its pretty mellow. Mines not gonna have any piping after it, so the lack of bends should help performance wise. Might be a tick louder than hers, but im cool with that.
