Obama or Clinton for 08?
Ok, being a conservative populist (no, I am not a republican or democrat) I am wondering, who do you think will win, or at least get awarded the DNC nomination in 08? Obama from IL of Clinton from NY?
Just curious, and why do you think so?

I was actually just thinking about this myself. It is definitely going to be a interesting run. Clinton certainly is more well known, has more experience and has the money to run an ad campaign, but Obama does have some potential, apparently he has some money rounding up to do though. I just watched a segment on Obama about 20 minutes ago, apparently was strongly opposed to the Iraq war the entire time, we'll have to see how that comes in to play later on.
Right now, I am undecided on who I think would win the nomination. I like both of them though.

I guess it all makes me wonder who will make it, because remember in 04 who the new comer was that everyone liked? Howard Dean, and then he went to Iowa.
Be careful Obama!!!! What out for Iowa!!!!
I personally do not know WHO I am gonna vote for, I usually vote strictly party depended on what is going on, like the 04 and 06, but this time around, I am not sure who I like, because I think Obama really has something, but I also like Guiliani - he did a lot for NY before he was Mayor, and and after too, but people of course are going to pick apart his personal life
because, "hey look, a straw man!!"

I sometimes wish that the US could be like Canada and have several parties to choose from instead of just the two (yeah, we also have the Libertarians but everyone knows that they can't win- not saying that is right or wrong, just stating a fact).

i'd freekn vote for Jimmy Carter again. Seriously, He' the last Democratic presidential candidate I voted for.
I wouldn't vote for Hillary Clinton for dogcatcher and I'm a registered Democrat. I thought her "husband" was a bullshitter when he promised durung his '92 campaign to sign an executive order allowing gays to serve openly in the military if he was elected.
I'm waiting to see who the partys nominate.

No thanks, no Clinoton's for me... his entire 2nd term was waste. Sorry, but for me, I will not go with Hillary, she is just WAY to liberal for me... something interesting I just found out too... Obama was ranked by some sort of company that ranks poloticians based on how they vote in office (both Dem and Rep) and Obama is even more liberal than Hillary
I dunno, I want the guy from Tenn that ran and lost for the senate this year, Harold Ford Jr. That guy was awesome!! I saw him in several interviews and I liked him way better than I ever liked any other polotician I heard speak. This guy spoke from the heart (which is probably why he lost), and he didn't hold back. He told it like it was and how he wanted it. I liked him.
Too bad he lost.
I will probably vote Republican again this year unless someone comes out way stronger. Giuliani FTW!

he actually didn't vote for the war in iraq, which is one thing that many people predicting will be a problem with Hillary making a run for the 08 pred'cy... Just a little fun fact.

Doesnt matter how many parties you have in my opinion its always a case of the lesser of 2 evils!Midnight_Rider wrote:I sometimes wish that the US could be like Canada and have several parties to choose from instead of just the two (yeah, we also have the Libertarians but everyone knows that they can't win- not saying that is right or wrong, just stating a fact).
