Lowering > How should I drop the front more

Have some questions about how to achive better handling and stopping power using different springs, upgrading to coilovers, questions on swaybars, bushings, different rotors, pads, ect... Having any steering problems or questions about steering racks, tie rods, tie rod ends, ect... ask these questions here.

It depends if they are tokico's for srt's or for regular neons. Srt struts have higher spring perches, which would actually raise your car if using the same springs you have now.

But struts in general are not the deciding factor on whether or not they will raise or lower your car more. Its the springs that do that. The type of strut depends on the application. If you plan on lowering your car, you want a strut that is made to handle it

Just to let you know, after looking at more pics of your car, i do think that it looks pretty damn good as is. I mean i can see the difference in wheel gap, but it really doesn't look bad at all IMO, even though i am a strong advocate of even wheel gap.

thanks man, i was just wondering if there was any difference in the ride height between stock struts and tokico's for an 00-05 neon.

i agree that it doesn't look too bad, but i just wanna do it once and do it right. thats some really cool scenery behind your car in that pic, really nice car too! :wink:
