fog light switch- flickering on and off

Post by Smooth23 » Sat Jan 20, 2007 6:55 pm

Okay, I need to know where to start. My fog lights like to flicker on and off randomly when the switch is off. If I just barely nudge the light control bar thingy they flicker. Its not just the display in the dash, they actually come on and off.

Any idea how much a new switch costs? I can't live with it, cause it flickers enough where my ass is going to get pulled over one of these days.

 I have been wondering if anyone else is having this same problem. Mine has been doing that for awhile now and is starting to irritate me. I figured it was the switch since thats whats so sensitive to the touch but haven't gotten around to swapping my extra one over to fix see if it's any better.

thats weird cuz mine does it all the time, everytime i hit a bump, or turn my system up. it goes to the bass!!! lol i prolly look soo ghetto driving down the street. i got used to it tho, but if someone found a way to fix it without spending the cash, that would be sweet

wo0ot! Have fun!

Just did mine a few weeks ago. At least you shouldn't have to replace the wiring harness connector, too.

Yeah my wiring harness was melted and the switch was shot. It sucked. They sure didn't give people alot of room to work in
