Did Chipotle raise their prices?

Post by yellowpatrol » Thu Jan 25, 2007 12:01 am

I went there on lunch today and noticed that the 3 middle meat choices are now $6.10 each. Didn't they used to be like $5.xx? Lame.

Messican burritos that are huge and MMM MMM good.

I never used to like them mainly b/c I'm not a mexican food lover but up until about a year and a half ago I started loving them. Barbacoa meat with hot sauce... so spicy and oh so good!

Although, whats better than Chipotle burritos is what TomZ makes. Last year during Mopar Nationals at his BBQ, damn he makes some good burritos! If you read this Tom, I'll be back next year with an empty stomach ready for some more good eaten!

Chipotle claims their burritos are 20 oz. But they raised their prices

And last night the guy only gave me like half a spoonful of barbacoa

I love them as well. That sucks if they raise their prices. Seems like they were around $5.50. I love them, but they need to use less rice, and mo' meat & cheese.

You know you're always welcome. Chipolte makes a great burrito. After spending 15 years in SoCal, I've had my fair share of good Mexican food. Due to the increase in the minimum wage, a lot of resturaunts are upping their prices.

I like Chipotle except the loud radio they have in their restaurant, like I'm going clubbing or something.
I've eaten there once and the burritos there are huge  .

Sadly, I only ate half of it.

Chipotle is too expensive IMO. You can get double the amount of food at Taco Bell for the same price... but Taco Bell is..well..Gross...

moes is the shit, i like chipotle a lot too...i go to chipotle more though since it is right around the corner from my house vs. 15-20 min drive to moes. i feel like chipotle does give you as much food as the used to when they first opened and i think the prices did go up? well at least thats how the ones by my house are...

I wish we had a Chipotle around me but hopefully there will be one close when I move. I had it a couple of times and I really like it. Is Panchero's the same thing?

Usually, at least the one I used to go to, if you asked for some more meat or less rice or more rice... whatever, they'd give it to you and not say anything. Might be because none of the people there would speak English and only knew key words like Steak or Chicken, or Hot Sauce

About the only thing that I like at Taco Bell is their Quesadillas
