If you use USPS it will take a long time. USPS is fast but once it is handed off to Canada Mail they're SLOWWW so I'd say try to ship UPS if you want it to get there faster.

Customs though, unless they suspect something just make sure you fill in the description of the parts in really well so they're less likely to open if they suspect something.

When shipping something just put cocaine in as the contents. I bet it would be the first package opened in customs and thus sent out faster...I've yet to try it.

UPS is the fastest shipper for international deliveries. Customs is usually decently quick with them. I've sent a few things over to europe and it only took 2 weeks.

Where you shipping to? I've never had any issues with Canada post at all and I've had stuff shipped to me from the states, and vice versa, always in a timely mannar.

If you're shipping up here to Canada it's WAAAY cheaper to ship USPS because they don't charge brokerage and handling fees. Not only that, but regular mail is usually pretty fast for what you pay. Also, you're less likely to have your package inspected with USPS and Canada post, and when you do it's only a $5 handling fee (vs $30++++ for UPS/FedEX). I've had more customs problems with UPS and FedEx than I can shake a stick at. I've yet to have one with the mail.

Now, if you need to get that box to Germany.......

We want to ship from fron J-Villa (Harrisburg, Pa - I think) to myself in the UK and from me to him.

I normally send via Royal Mail (Parcel Force) from my end and USPS takes over at your end. To be honest ive never had any problems.

Basically if you use a courier company you will get raped with customs fees. Although I had hood shipped to me VIA DHL and i payed ziltch in customs. Its possible that the company had there own broker.

USPS or Canada post, although slower, will be considerabley cheaper to ship, as well as cheap or no customs fees

For example. Me and another member had the exact same items shipped to us in Canada from the same seller. Mine was shipped VIA USPS and the other was UPS. No customs fees were charged for USPS, and UPS charged $100 on a $200 product.

:wtf:

Its not exactly *cough* legal but when they ask how much you want to declare the value of the item you're shipping, make $10-20 so the person in Canada doesn't get stuck with some insane fee. Either that or mark it as a gift and include a birthday card incase it's opened

I've been selling BMW parts worldwide for about 2 years now.... and I'll tell you now.... Customs is a crazy bitch. Good luck with this one as it can work out smoothly like nothing ever happened or it can end horribly with the packages taking 6 months to get to the parties involved.
