For the record, the mods on 1GN forum will be 1GN owners since that is who the forum is for

I've already gotten a few IM's about the forum saying people are really looking forward to it so it sounds like it should take off pretty well

Due to the excitement I've purchased it's own hosting so it will not share with 2GN

I'll think about it but I'm not promising anything to anyone. All I can tell yo is prove yourself on 1GN with knowlege, maturity, respect and there's a good chance. I want to bring to 1GN what 2GN has for respect and maturity so thats going to be a big part of what myself and Vinny will be looking for

As far as business cards go, yep... as soon as I have the cash for them I'll be throwing a design together and have some made to get ready for show season and when I get the decals ready to be purchased

Can I suggest a spec neon section on the new site. I'll post pics of my 1gn soon (once I see it again). In a way I have a real 1gn coupe (1st mopar fwd coupe).

1gn will start out with a general auto-x/road race board, but if there is enough discussion on the Spec-Neon series we will gladly add an additional, dedicated forum.

best way to become a mod is not to ask.....if you see something on the site that needs attention, or have ideas on how to make the site better....you will have better chances then....that's how i originally became a mod here....i saw how unorganized and that the feedback section was unmoderated...i came up with a whole game plan on fixing it up, cleaning it, and modding it...presented it to jason and like 2 weeks later i became a mod...

then grambo left i stepped up and took over for him, and we brought krack in to take over the feedback section

^^ what he said but we also make a big part of it in what sort of example is set on the forums. If you show others respect, are helpful, active on the forum without being a post whore, ect... we take that into account, big time. If you're disrespectful, rude, hurtful, ect... high chance those people won't be considered.

It's just not one factor that affects the decision of who is going to be a mod and who isn't, it's several things.
