they only last about a month

You're probably thinking of the blue-coated incandescent bulbs. I had the same experience with them... 3 weeks and the coating was gone. LEDs never die.

you know, you can tell where the bulbs are, and the farther away you get, the more green it looks... i dunno, maybe it is the angle of the shot, who knows. :? Looks pretty good. :D

yeah, colored bulbs ftl

i painted a light bulb in high temp paint and it still lost its color after a couple weeks.
