well ill list them:

1.- What would be a good set up for rally (asphalt) without going for coilovers neither lowering the car too much, what struts? KYB, Konis?, and what springs and most importantly where to get them (since MP and howell suck at suspension).

2.- I dont have acces to a dyno, so is buying an AEM camgear a waste of money?, im interested because i heard you could adjust it to get more power into the lower rpms instead of high peaks in the high rpm range. (i have 14 cranecam)

3.- With 14 cranecam, AFXecu running at high revs (7000-8000) and a .020" milled head, i know ill need the crane springs, but do i also need the retainers?

if you're referring to the titanium retainers, no, stock retainers should be fine. if you want to be really sure, just buy a new set of stock retainers. :D

the other questions make my head hurt, so i'll try and come back and answer em later. ;) :lol:

As for #2...

Fine tuning won't be doable with it, but what about the butt dyno? If you don't have something to measure how much power you have on tap, at least having that gear there will allow you to play with it a little and get it to somewhere you like it for when you drive.

on a side note, I also have a Crane 14 installed. Once I get to a dyno keep your eyes open because I'm going to try a few spots advanced and retarded and it might give you a general idea.

oh that would be cool, rmember to scan the charts and stuff :)

But what about the suspension, that is the most important question of all, i need to buy something and i have no what, and MP & gary dont even have many options.

And i also forget question #4: As i said the mods are crane 14, .020"milled head, P&P, cai, no cat, AFX ecu all that for Rally (80% on asphalt 20% on gravel)....

Will i need an aftermarket Oil Pan (moroso or canton) or probably an MSD ignition system?.

Vitor said i would need an oil pan, but he sells them so he may be trying to sell me stuff, a few people told me stock oilpan and stock ignition will be fine...

What do you think?


EDIT: and #5 where can i get a TTI long tube header?

KYBs are nearly stock replacements for R/T struts so I'd so go with Koni or Tokico Ilumina adjustable struts. Then you could possibly look at H&R for springs.

You shouldn't need a larger oil pan, the only benefits from a larger pan is added cooling. Then depending on the pan you'll also get a windage tray + baffles to help prevent oil, and some oil line bungs to add oil lines for a turbo or oil temp sensor. You could also go with the MSD ignition so you have some tubability with timing and such.
