Cunningham Style Fascia

Post by Canada » Thu Feb 01, 2007 5:10 pm

Ok Guys and Gals,

 **Please please please do NOT turn this into a Howell bashing thread, some of us have had probs with Gary and his business, but please leave it out of here**

That being said...This fascia is very different and I kinda like it. I have never seen another car with it on, or for that matter, another pic of it other then this one:

Image

So I was wondering, if anyone else has pics from different angles or on different cars I would love to see them! 8)

Also, how does everyone feel about the "DOHC" hood? I think it'd be a nice, subtle addition to alot of the vehicles here on 2GN.

Let's discuss....in a civil manner.

There's a reason why that's the only car that you've seen with that front fascia... Isn't it priced at like a hundred thousand dollars, or something?

When I look at the front of cars I see faces, and this one though is very nice looking, reminds me of Homer Simpson thinking too hard.

Looks wise I think it looks okay just b/c it's different but not over the top but I heard a quality issue about it.
honduhHunter wrote:I also purchased the AF/X cunningham front fascia with the grill insert for $1400++ Plus S/H. when i got it the grillis totally wrong & doesnt fit, gary & todd dont care cuz they already took my money, the fiberglass resin has drips running down the front that need to be sanded & RE-Gel coated the RIGHT way!
I dunno.... that right there alone make me not like it.

I wouldnt buy any fiber glass products from Howell. A few of my friends had bought his hoods, and while driving down the road the skin of the hood blew right off. The quaility is very bad. And yes, that bumper used to be $799.95 plus shipping. Junk, junk and junk!

honestly, I absolutely HATE the look of that front bumper.
It makes the car look to... chryserish instead of dodge. (yea yea, i know, SAME THING)

I just don't like it.

i like the front end, but i see what your saying opi. chrysler is more luxury.

the neon is not that, so it should not look like it. maybe if there was a different grill for it.

definatly different..

only thing i do like about it is the fact that it doesnt look all cheap and "racey" like most other body kits on the market. Looks kinda vip/luxrury/exotic car. has more of a smooth look to it. Is it just the front or does it come with a whole kit? ive seen a car with that in some pic somewhere from a carshow.

Actually. Yes. It is a European Magnum. I can show you pics of the back, as well look at the indicators on the fender.
I have several pics of it at home, as well my father is an area manager at the Brampton Assembly plant where they build the LX vehicles, and he confirmed it to me.

i think if you cut out the crysler part of the grill it wil llook sick. or cut the whole thing out and fit the bumper over the intercooler it will be alright. its deffinetly diffrent, but i think the stock bumper without the cut out looks ugly, imo.

In Europe it's not called Magnum - it's called Chrysler 300C.
And yes - it is the same like the Magnum except the front end.
