For the "Drinkers Out There"

Post by hansken_yo » Thu Feb 01, 2007 9:03 pm

Just curious what kind of drinks you prefer....
Are you a Connoisseur or "Whats on Sale" kinda drinker?

Me: I drink all differnt kinds, but my favorites are Red Wines (and yes I'm a Connoisseur), Dark Beers, and Crown Royal Private Reserve.

Now that you know I'm a snob...(@least with my drinks) 8) What do you guys like?

I selected beer because I drink that all the time. But I do like my share of liquors.

Apple Pucker
Vodke
Hot Damn
Parrot Bay
Captain Morgan
Jagermeister (mix in a little red bull and enjoy, but its good on its own)
I havent ventured into too many more as liquor is $$$.

For beer i typically drink yuengling, miller lite or bud lite. when i go to happy hour i vary it a little and drink a killians. im also trying to expand my horizons with beer as well. i recently found Sam Adams winter lagar, very good. and then i was surprised when i didnt care too much for regular sam adams. might have to try it again.

I'm a Beer drinker, after my last run in with Liquor I hardly touch it anymore except for the occasional shots but thats about it. Once you learn that Beer and Liquor don't mix and don't follow the "Beer before Liquor, never sicker" and "Liquor before Beer, never fear" rules... you learn your lesson fast :puke: *shutters* never again lol

In reality though, I'm not a big drinker anymore but I'll drink anything once to try it. Favorite beer when I'm out is Corona or Sol when I'm home but for Light beers I like Miller or Coors. I'm not a huge Dark Beer fan but I'll drink 'em...

Wine Coolers I like 'em all but Mikes Hard Lemonade is always good especially on a hot summer day lol

Wine is good too and apparently good for you so every now and then I'll have a glass.

There was a show on recently all about Liquor and I think they did a whole section just on Absinth and it's history of why it's illegal in some countries.

Personally I like to grab a solid beer and drink to enjoy it. I'm really not fond of just drinking to get hammered because I really don't like being smashed off my face. Solid buzz and a stumble in your step -> good, smashed/out of control -> not good.

Normally I stick to quality beer, or rye and coke. When it comes to shots anything goes. For my birthday they boys took me out and it was eveything, beer, rye, jager, vodka, mystery drink. It goes down and it stays down for me.

mystery drink

*shudders*

that brings back bad memories of a cup of stuff, stuff, stuff and some other stuff, with one of those stuffs being pure grain. i had one 12 oz cup and was done. it did come back up though.

ive been getting better at keeping large quantities of alcohol down.

I cannot STAND beer of any kind. :puke:

I'm a liquor kind of guy. 151, Vodka, Rum (god I love rum), liquid cocain, kamakazi, car crash, blue smurf, mixed, straight, shot, double shot, tripple shot, whatever. I'll drink it and keep a straight face.

Wine... only home made. That's the fastest I've ever been drunk.

i had a kamikaze one night at the bar. they were free so i tried it, damn that was some good stuff.

vodka and lemonade, hmmm definitly going to have to try that very soon.

irish car bomb, only heard of them, never had one. but that might change tonite, unless it involves guiness. so far i havent been able to stand guiness. but im willing to try it again.

jagerbombs, now thats some good stuff. we were at a club one time and there were a few of us that got them and knocked them back as fast as possible. when i got done my fiance was like :omgshocked: at how fast it went down. i was done and had the glass back on the bar before anyone else even finished drinking.

jim and jack are my two best friends. soco is my kryptonite, i stay away from it... its wayyy too easy for me to down half a handle without thinking twice.

and, as a college student on a tight-ass budget, i've grown accustomed to the horse-piss taste of natty light.

Beer for the most part...depending on the season, mood, and time I drink different types.

Liquor I tend to drink more in the summer, I love margaritas. Vodkas sours are also amazing. In the winter it tends to be more jager bombs, whiskey related drinks, and shots.

Wine is another love. Red wine I tend to drink a little slower, because too much you get a rocking headache in a hurry; but that can be avoided with water of course. I drink a lot of white wine, it makes for an amazing drunk.

Mostly Beer.

I'm a big fan of all Hefeweizens.

If I am drinking liquor, I will drink any whiskey.

the thing about beer is I usually have to "break the seal" before I even get buzzed, Hard A gets you trashed way to fast, and wine makes getting drunk fun... Its kinda the in-between, but yeah... some of them can lead to a healthy headache.
