2.0 dohc or 2.0 sohc?
i heard sohc have lower compression ratio
which holds boost better?
Re: which holds boost better?
Compression does play a small factor in boost but the most crucial part of boosting is your tune. I have seen sohc honda motors take 12 pounds with just arp head studs all because of having good tuning.lvlistchif wrote:2.0 dohc or 2.0 sohc?

I would go with the DOHC because of the ability to tune more than the SOHC and they usually make more power.

y only 12? do you have the bottom end built?
if i did a srt head swap on a 2.0 bottom end and ran a 50 trim size turbo, do you think stage 1 injectors would be enough due to the 2.0 not being a stroker. im going to do the 8:8 compression, also, what ecu would i use? the 1st gen dohc ecu or a srt ecu?
