Updated engine pics

Post by nofrills05 » Sun Feb 04, 2007 4:46 pm

Well as of right now here is what she looks like under the hood.

Just finished installing the new CAI yesterday, before I had the stock bellows and air box to which the 60mm TB would not mount, so it was just being held in there by the filter clamped in the box. This caused the whole TB assembly to move around and make my throttle a bit sticky which = crappy to drive.

Now all is fine, and minimal to no "fog horn" with this intake - after I re-adjusted the mounting.

TNK

So far no problems with my TB and the NGC. The only codes the throw or problems I have are because I have no cat.

My friend who I got the TB of off had an '03 SXT ATX and he had zero problems too. He sold most of his neon mods to me so he could bring his neon back to stock to sell it to join the American Revolution...catch my drift?

I noticed a better upper end pull with the CAI, and it's a bit louder.

and yes the AEM and Injen are pretty much identical.

..and no MS, I am going to be patient and wait for something to happen for the NGC, if nothing ever happens then I guess I'll save some money.
