woah woah woah...2.5"? i dont think so...if anything you have stock piping on there it's going to be at most 2 1/4"...which is funny because everyone ran around saying it was 2 1/4 when really my exhaust was 2"

The largest pipe you'd want to PUT ON would be 2.5", right now you're prolly at 2 1/4

if the header outlet is 2.5" you could get a header collector that goes from the 2.5 to 2.25" and weld everything up.

i had a magnaflow cat on mine with an afx lth...it's just a tad more cutting and welding than if you were going to bolt it straight up to the header.

2.25 inches is the stock pipe diameter. base neons have the same sized piping, but no resonators, on base models the piping drops to 2 inches where the axle-back attaches.. the rt's and sxts do not have this and are 2.25 all the way.(and have a resonator)
