I had the vibrant as one of the first mods on my neon, save your money for a catback if you want something. It will hang too low and will not give you any gains over your r/t exhaust.

so many assumptions ^^^ look at my signature. I currently have the vibrant by biggest question i guess is if i get an r/t bumper will I have less of a gap? or should i try to find an srt rear bumper or just simply modify the current exhaust to hang a little higher?

The R/T rear bumper is no lower then your current bumper. The only difference is that it will have cut outs for the tips. An srt rear will be lower but i do not know if the cut outs will line up correctly with the tips. If you want to get it to hang higher I believe you can by different rubber exhaust hangers.

SILVER-ES thanks i'll have to look into that. Cuz with my new suspension i can't lower my coilovers too low. I started hitting the exhaust on my driveway entrance . Good thing the exhaust only cost me 50bucks! but i like it I just hope i can get those new hangers.

Yeah, don't get me wrong, I liked my vibrant. It has a nice deep sound to it. I never messed with mine because I had to get rid of it when i got my kit. I sold mine to JuicyJay, not sure if he posts anymore, and he had it adjusted to sit higher. Maybe PM him to see what was done. Good luck with it. :thumbleft:

I had to get new hangers for my Borla, just to get it up closer to the bumper of my SXT. Simple fix, the guys at Midas were cool and gave em to me for free.

Anyway, the height can be adjusted, as for power gains for the Vibrant vs. the R/T, I don't know

I have the vibrant...it does hang low, but w/ a body kit (depending on the exact kit u have)it fits quite well.

yeah those rubber hangers are hard to find. You pretty much have to find a donor car at a junkyard that has the bushings u need. your best bet is to take it to an exhaust shop and see what they think. they can adjust it, for a price.
