All new Dodge DEMON concept
I like the overall design better then the original Razor concept and Dodge needs to get into this market to compete with the S2000, Miata, Solstice/Sky, 350z, etc...enough of this hatchback SRT shit lets get a real affordable RWD SRT-4 roadster! It could still use some design refining, like I think a forward facing aggressive hood scoop would really help define the front a little more (along with the ones it already has?), among other things...
Some more pics...i didn't see this link get posted so here ya go:

Damn dude, I LOVE the interior! I won't get my hopes up for production (after the number of conceps that Dodge has thrown out, I know better now). I'm a huge fan of Miatas myself, so I'd probably love driving this.

I would rock that. I have been looking for a roadster and that might be the one sitting in my garage. Maybe and e-blue demon next to my e-blue srt4

Looks like its on the same platform as the Crossifre... Looks like a mini Viper/Crossfire mix. Looks expensive. But I would take one. I like how Dodge is bringing back all these old vehicles anr e-designing them and making them bad ass. "what kind of car do you own dude?"
My response, "I drive a Demon!"

I would have gotten rid of my Neon long ago with that mentality. Mike, just for you, the first thing I'm gonna say when I see you at Carlisle is how cute your car is just so I can see what happens.03sxt wrote:

I liked the Sling Shot concept better but this is very nice. Since Pontiac is in SCCA racing with the Solstice, maybe DCX could get into the action with this (hardtop maybe?).

Uh... I should hope that a $35k sports car has better styling cues than a $15k economy car.LowNSlow wrote:Hm, I'm sorry but I'd have to say S2K styling > neon Styling... and I'm sure others agree.

love the flared fenders out back... some rims w/ a big lip would be sexy as hell... the thing that kills me is that they don't show you how it looks w/ the top up... unfortunately it'd be a shitty cloth top... we need more hard top convertables... the miata just got released w/ a hard top convertable, hopefully if this goes into production dodge won't be a step behind and release it w/ a soft top

I dunno, but persoanlly, I am sick of cars like this from DCx... I want to see something along the same lines as the Cobalt - now, hear me out, I mean a small sport compact that is available in multiple trims including a 2 door and several options/levels/trims, whatever. Sorry, but I am sick of cobalts, civics, altimas, etc running around here in my city! Neon was a perfect platform for the above, but they gave up on it instead of redesigning it and changing the idea behind it - but whatever, doesn't matter I will be getting a WRX or Evo

I hate to ressurect a thread, but I think its important. I just got done reading a big article on the Demon concept. They were saying how they are trying to make it on terms with a Miata, not a Solstice/Sky. they are also looking at cheap performance.... $15,000 base price. I think this is the answer to the Neon you guys. RWD, great handling, different packages, 2 door, and most of all, fairly cheap price! Bring it on Dodge! Doet!
They also said the concept was made entirely of carbon fiber, not sheet metal like others are..

maybe. i also caught that article about the concept. However, if enough folks make noise, such as with the challanger concept, dodge will have no choice but listen......MoparNeonMan wrote:Man...its already gone. We just dont know it yet.
too bad they wont listen to cries of pain for an 03 + ecu upgrade.
Nothing makes people doubt the american education system like seeing a psycho driving a customized dodge neon.
