spoilerless trunk

Post by gump1114 » Mon Feb 19, 2007 11:04 pm

im in the market for a spoilerless trunk for my srt4 so that i dont have the holes. i know where one is for sale but he wants me to offer him a price for it, but i have no idea what a reasonable price is for it. so basically im just curious what you all think is reasonable. im not trying to rip anyone off with a lowball here.

thanks.

does the transaction just involve cash or is your lid part of the deal? local j/y has them for about 50, but they might have some scratches, so i would say maybe around 80-100 for one in good condition.

:withstupid: or try trading. There are probably plenty of people that want the SRT wing.

I got my trunk for about $100 a few years ago. I had to get a new one because i tried to do that flip flop thing and my trunk never fit right again :( I got mine frm a junkyard in FL.

I plan on pulling my spoiler off soon. Need to find something other than bubblle gum and duct tape to fill the holes. There is a guy (streetbadges.com) who sells plugs for the neons that are painted to match, just not in my color. And he has some negative reviews lately so I am waiting to see how that comes out. He just moved so I am hoping the lapse in service was due to the move and he takes care of everybody...

Should be able to find one decent priced at a yard. Id offer him $100 shipped and call it a deal, if he doesnt go for it im sure you can find a neon in a junkyard (NOWAI  ) probably a silver one too with only front end damage.

Can you get me one and ship it??? It would be cheaper then any of the yards around my area. They are looking for $200 - 225 for just a damn decklid w/o holes!!!! Seeing I just picked up a Xenon fascia for $200 - a stock decklid is not worth it. So I told them to keep it.

Back on topic --- if you can get it for under $100 that's a great deal. As I said, I've been looking for one locally and these yards here wanna just bend me over!
