Your better of asking on SRTforums. Not many ACR Srt owners here

I have a full size stock 15" wheel in mine. It sticks out of the wheel whole about 1" so the cover doesn't fit all the way. Kinda annoying but i like having the full size instead of the donut

yeah i got a full size 15" spare in mine also. as said it only sticks out about an 1" or so but worth it. i'd rather be rollin on a full size than some little donut they call a spare

Good to know. I have at least a half dozen extra Dodge rims kicking around with used tires on them. It had never even crossed my mind.

Depends. I do much more highway than backroads. Donut spares are supposedly safety-rated at 55mph. That does me absolutely no good. I've had full spares in all my cars except the Neon. That might change soon.

Also, if one of your front tires goes flat, there's no added strain on your differential to throw a full spare on. With the donut, the tire sizes are now different on the front. Diffs don't like that.

If you're a back roads, short trips kinda person, then the donut is fine. Anything else, the full spare is really nice to have, especially when they're exactly the same size.

Hmm... the old snowflake wheels are pretty light from what I remember. I'll weigh one when I get the chance. Is 15x6" ok?

it would be heavier, there is more steel and rubber involved. but with the benefits out weigh the weight.

Jon, i too might be interested in one of those wheels. 15x6 would be perfect. I wouldnt even ask you to ship it. if you could bring it to carlisle then that would be perfect. so, how much do you think for one of them and in what shape are the tires in?

i too do a lot of highway driving. i see people all the time running 70+mph on a donut. and it wouldnt be me. id be doing 55 and then getting run off the road.

anyone got a pic of what the acr srt thingy looks like?

edit: should mention, that would be if you had room of course.

you dont have to get the 15" spare. plus wouldnt that tire/wheel combo be too tall for our cars?

the 14" steel wheel weighs 16lbs 10 oz. throw a super cheap tire of the correct size and then you have a spare that is the correct height for your car.

damn that sucks about the wrong tire size. how much life do you have left on them?

they are a full 1.5" shorter than stock.
