putting on vinyl
when my buddy uinstalled my eyelids, he didnt use any soapy water. but he did use a hair dryer to help stretch the vinyl to the contour of the headlight

It took us 9 hours to put the graphics on my neon. Your best bet is to first tap those stripes on the car. This way you can stand back and move them where you'd like them. From there, leave it tapped up and pull the backing off the vinyl - wet your car with some soapy water, the more water the easier to move the vinyl around. Then get a squeegy (sp?) to get all of the water out from back behind the vinyl. Once you get the hang of it, it goes really fast.SGT BRAD wrote:i need to know how to do the vinyl cuda stripes as well so if someone can either point to a post or give a heads up.
The reason it took us so long was we had to take the handles off to leave the huge silver down the car. Then put on the purple strips, and then the lettering inside the silver. Same process as above to install just alot more vinyl. I will say one thing, getting this vinyl off is being a big PIA..! ARGH!
