Fog grill modification POLL

Post by yellowpatrol » Thu Mar 01, 2007 7:27 pm

What do you think about this crazy look that I thought up? Should I do it?

I'm not just gonna spray paint it if I do. I'd probably get Maaco or somebody to do it.

I dunno. I looks OK black, but it makes it look like a cheap model. Just my .02

I say do it, but with one condition...

You must paint the upper grill, and chrome inserts to match the lower color.

A lot of people know how much I hate the chrome on the 03+ front end.

I really like the way your front end looks blacked out! I might just have to copy it and take out the chrome, I don't like it so much.

I did a chop of them cut out. The only issue you have if once you cut them out...you will have to fill in the "V" notches and reshoot the bumper to get it to look right....just like removal of the crosshairs on SRT's. i am still debating on what to do with mine....paint it dark black flat black, cutout.

those cross bars along the bottom are painted black instead of paint matched... near the fog lights and the license plate... see it now? closer... closer........ closer, you're almost there... now..... closer. BAM!

Either cut it out, or save your money for something else. Painted or not, it won't be a head turner
