Help me chose another color....
I'm n the process of finishing my exterior real soon...but the only prob. I'm having is the final color...
I still thinking bout white... but wanna see what everyone else thinks.....cuz white is hard to keep clean... I was also looking into black... cuz I love how black on black rims look.... with a machine lip of course...
So basically post up thoughts on what color....

If your building a show car, I suggest getting a paint color that really shines when it's detailed, like for example black.z3roneo wrote:Yea... I stopped with the interior a year ago.... I have moved on to finish the outside and start with my turbo project....

Yea... but black is hard to get black... and cost more as well.... I was looking into Red as well....
That's basically my color scheme: White, Black, and Red
White: shows too much dirt
Black: shows dents
Red: The cops favorite...

If your building a show car, you need to clean it every week no matter how dirt it is.
White: shows too much dirt
Wash your car alot. I had a white car and never had a problem keeping it clean.
Black: shows dents
Don't get dents then
Red: The cops favorite...
Don't speed

I vote for a flat or satin white.
Color changes are expensive and difficult.. you wont win shows with a car being a different color than your door jams or trunk or engine compartment either.
I wanted to paint our showy race car flat white.. had portions of it done where the original bright white flaked off (it was a 96, so the paint came off easily), but she took that when she left, so thats not gunna happen now...... but it looks good, IMO.

Half the Neons out there are silver. I think something like the pearl white from the Cadillac Escelade would look extemely bad ass. Throw on a nice set of 18's in gunmetal, hyperblack, or bronze...you would have a show stopper. Make sure what ever wheels you get that they have a lip on them, Neons look best wheel thier wheels have a nice lip.
Yup.. I like how the White Wrx looks,.....sxt wrote:Half the Neons out there are silver. I think something like the pearl white from the Cadillac Escelade would look extemely bad ass. Made up mind again... I"m stay with white.... Just don't which... out of Pure White off a WRX, Taffeta White from an Accord, or Grand Prix White off a Honda S2000...
Decisions....
