so i had some nice expensive kenwood excelon components all around. and no amp.

then i got me a nice alpine face, and a jl 300/4 amp.

then i figured out no matter what. .my sense in sound is just too advanced for kenwood cuz i couldnt get those speakers to sound how i wanted.

then i blew a tweeter.

YAY!

speaker recomendations?

kenwood sucks. they sound like cardboard.

i like boston accoustic for high end, and pioneer for lower end...but, i have a pioneer HU, so i like the way pioneer equipment sounds. try the alpine components, cant go wrong with matching source and drivers, unless its kenwood (or sony, they suck too)

JBL, Infinity Kappa, MB Quart...

Are all very good speakers.

And Killer is right, Sony sucks. There is a reason why they call them "Xplod"
