cool commercial.
but yeah autosticks r stupid. When I went to the Chrysler learning thingy out here.. He was saying how the autostick makes it feel like you have a manual and it makes it feel like you are getting more performance, but you really aren't.

Hmmm, granted I don't use it very much, but when I do it's actually pretty nice. Only reason I don't use it more is that it disables MDS.

autosticks are ok. but they dont respond like they should. if they shifted right when you shifted it would be better, but playing around on my fiances moms jeep it doesnt seem to want to do that.

I've always wondered if you did the "torque management mod" with an AutoStick car what it would shift like. Might be fun. Might also be kinda bad for your trans. :D

Oh yeah, fuck Dodge for finally making another car I'd buy... and then not offering it with a manual (in the US). I swear, I bet you, in a few years, I'll end up picking up a mint 2nd gen Stratus with a 2.4, putting a Neon manual trans in it, and driving it until I'm retired.

Both generations of the Stratus were available with a stick. You could get a Plymouth Breeze with the 2.0/5-speed combo. I know, not a Stratus, but it basically is. The 2nd gen Stratus was available in R/T trim with the 2.7L V6 and a 5-speed. Probably a very cool car to drive, but I'll take the 2.4 turbo over the 2.7L any day.
