Got a question for you guys.

Ok, I know we all hate huge monstrosity wings, and that all they do is induce laughter,

However, I am very soon putting the body kit below onto my car, and am considering a mid-profile, long, drift style carbon fiber spoiler as well, something like the one pictured below, you guys will make my mind up for me.

Heres a wing like the ones I am considering...

Personally I think with a kit that extravagant you pretty much need a wing like that. IMO it wouldn't look bad with that kit if you also had a cf hood and trunk.

Oh, sorry, forgot to add that the ENTIRE kit will be Carbon Fiber, with a hood and trunk to match.

Wow all in Carbon Fiber? That's awesome.. I say go for it, those wings don't look as horrendous as they sound if they're not too tall.

That wing would be perfect, however I think I will be going a bit wider as the car will be 6" wider than stock.

I have also been considering a lip spoiler, a'la ELW, or AVS, in carbon fiber of course.

I will also be running 19X8.5" Boyd Coddingtons, 4" lips FTMFW!!!!!!

I like that, but I agree with Glasswars that if I were to get one, I would want one that comes close to the contour of the trunk.

I was going to get the rest of the car covered in carbon fiber, but it didn't work out. But in reality, there won't be much left thats not carbon fiber to cover.

I can't wait, it's going to look so hot!

Unfortunately, I can't really post any pics of it unless the manufacturer lets me, or starts advertising it. I know that they were considering releasing it, but not in carbon. It is being done for SEMA 2007.

The only thing I don't see being purchasable, is the full carbon fiber kit, but in fiberglass, yes, it will be available some time in 2007. I don't know when though. Price should be in the $1000-$1500 range.

i agree, im not a fan of the wings but if you can manage to have a mid size spoiler that doesnt stand out to much and blends with the body then that will work for me..

i thought you wanted those aluminum silver wings which look like shit on any car.. thank god its not..
so say yeah and great choice in wing and please dont over do it..

From my understanding, his car is either a salvage title car, or it was just in a bad accident so they don't want to use his. So just mine will be there.

I will be running 19X8.5" Boyds with a zero offset, 4" lips FTMFW!!!!

Trust me, if I can't find a wing that fits it JUST right, I will just use a lip spoiler, or none at all.

Well, normally, I would agree with you, however the body kit is just too aggressive to have no contrasting heighth. Don't you think the width of the car gives it too much of a lower look not to have a "big gay wing " on it to make the car look taller?

Wingless ftw or the first wing you posted would go with the extreme of the car.

I think your car will look good... for a show car.

Wingless huh.....hmm, I think what I'm going to do is drive around for awhile with no wing, then decide if I want to leave it that way or not.
