money wise it shouldnt be an issue. no offense but im what you might call "jewish" when it comes to spending money - in other words, im extremelly frugal and i feel that i just cant justify $500 for springs/shocks, another $200 for labor, and whatever amount it is to get the body repainted where the moldings/emblems get removed which brings up a good point.... i might as well remove all of the "dodge" , "neon" , "dodge r/t" , and "2.0 magnum" emblems while im at it. my front bumper needs to get repainted too cuz by the looks of it the previous owner mustve taken it off roading cuz i have rock chips and scratches all over my front end but especially the lower half of the front bumper. how much, do you estimate this will cost to powdercoat the rims, remove the emblems/moldings, get the paint matched to the rest of the car AND get my entire front bumper repainted.. thanks

sorry but i need something to validate my spending and the support so far has been very helpful

maybe ill be lookin into an srt-4 once im into college so i dont know if i can justify $1k+..... ahh i want it, i dont want it, i want it, i dont want it, i can never make up my mind! (i just looked again and my first pic looks so innocent compared to the 2nd one). sorry for the long post

Umm when you remove the badging and embelms and the like you shouldnt have to get it repainted, just some goo be gone or something like that and a good wax, and your good to go.

i thought that the paint underneath where emblems used to be still has the shiny finish like the day it drove off the lot.... or maybe if i do a wax job right afterward... mmm..... smooooth.

the side moldings.... glue/adhesive or bolted in?

as for the grille it would have to be custom because grille craft does not make an upper grille for the 2g neon. :gag: heres the wheels you requested... i either did a horrible job or this color is just way off....

both

color is off. .but that can be easily corrected.

where you messed up is you selected that area as a whole. you need to de-select the area in between the spokes, the lugs, etc...

Yeah, those look gold. If you make them darker I think it will look pretty cool.

whats with people and bronze rims all of a sudden? IMO bronze rims only look good on the cars that came stock with them, like WRX's

I even like the black over the bronze, but hey i think some nice spoked chome rims would set that red off nice...oh well

When you want to change thiings like that, just select them and press Ctrl + U and that will bring up the hue saturation control panel. from there select colorize and mess with the three settings to reproduce what I did there

I've like bronze rims for a long time. Before they became all popular. I think the bronze would look bad ass with the red.
