Spring cleaning 07 - WAXED THAT BOOTY!!!

Post by kc2005ptgt » Mon Mar 12, 2007 9:15 pm

Sorry for the title, I know, it is tacky  But today I spent about 30 minutes washing and cleaning the cars outside, then I bought a 6" buffer/waxer and then I took some turtle wax to it - and BOOYA man it looks good now - I also took a lint free cloth to it afterwards, but forgot to get more pics - looks even better since the rag-down... hope you like it!

AFTER the WAX, BUFFING: you will notice some slight swirls here and there, but I got rid of those later, and looks even better!

looks pretty damn good!!! i used the meguars tech wax and my car came out pretty good too... but i dont have a buffer so it took me some time to do it but well worth it. it filled in some of the minor scratches my car has.

Actually, I am getting them powder coated this summer... $100 for the set of four, and I get matching black lug nuts powder coated. :D But yeah, I know, the wheels look horrible right now, winter was harsh

Wow, waxing does numbers. I saw the before, and I am like.. It looks good, it doesn't need to be washed! Then I see the after and damn, its so glossy! Yeah you really do need to get those rims re-painted. Gloss black would do them good. Are you getting them powdercoated through that one dude on KCSR who dives the Cobalt SS, he has a huge thread in Automotive Lounge. They quoted me $170 for my 14''ers a couple weeks back.

I am not sure who the guy is, but I talked to him several times, and he quoted me $25 per wheel and throw in the lug nuts. Not bad I guess... I do not think the guy has a cobalt... I will search for the pm I got and pm you on kcsr.org ---- what is your screenname there???
