Then what about older cars, most 92 models and below do not have Airbags at all. so you are saying that if my car did not come with an airbag from the factory then i can not dive it. :tardbang:
It is not illegal to remove the airbags, now it is illegal to pay someone to remove them, but it is not illegal if you remove the airbag yourself.

does the horn and turn singles work? and what quick disconnect is that one.

I am getting one of these,

any car that comes with airbags from the factory are legally required to keep them. Like most of us car guys give two shits about the law anyways though haha.

is that an authentic bride wheel? must have cost u a bundle! nice.

yes i do believe it is ilegal do remove an airbag from an airbag equiped car... but then what if your an a accident and you never get the bag replaced? :D its also ilegal to drive a car with no cat.... its also ilegal for me to have a loud ass exhaust.... its also ilegal for me to play with my airsuspension while the car is in motion... you get where i'm going with this?

the horn could work, but i jacked up the button

the turnsignals work fine, but they don't shut off atomatically due to the clockspring being removed. :(

the quick disconect is by NRGY and its pretty cool the way it works :)

 nah man, i wanted to test the waters and got the eBay special. before i went and spent a good chunk of change, i wanted to be 100% sure about it. so yes, i'm saving my querters, but its gonna be for a momo wheel (a real one)

what i heard from laws that whatever cars that not come with airbags, it's ok to replace whatever steering wheel anyone want to, but

cars that come with airbag, it can't replace with any steering wheel w/o airbag. i ain't slapping around. I just love it, but i just asked if its illegal to replace..chill

i remmy in my corolla forum, they do have aftermarket steering wheel with airbag which costs 500 (from TRD as toyota racing dev.) I wonder mopar has it? thanks

Where did you get the snap-off hub from NGRY, couldn't find anything online about it. I think it's allowed to replace airbag steering wheels in the Netherlands, so I should be fine. However, it's very hard to come by Neon stuff around here since it's not as popular as in the States.

i was in no way trying to be an asshole, i was just getting to the point that a lot of the stuff we do is not in accordance with the law. my bad if you felt salty about my comment.

hey hey calm down lol. I got nothing against ebay the WEBSITE, I just dont prefer to buy ebay-brand (aka knock-off) parts for my car. Hell, I buy my clothes from walmart, I just feel that when it comes to car parts Id rather not take chances with the cheap stuff.

anywho, which momo wheel are u looking at?

i don't think i see nice clothes in wal mart unless you are 60's age

oh thats ok, normally 50/50 polices stop us for aftermarket parts. But would it affect my inspection every year? Some inspections wouldn't pass my car if i lowered it too much or etc like this.

I looked at pa gov site about this and they have too many words that come in my head and come out in next sec. I dunno what the hell they are talking about.

What about adapting the '03-'05 steering column cruise assembly? Would that work?
