It's more of a Polish than a wax but if you want the best results, Zaino.. hands down. After that for another polish I really like Liquid Glass as I'm sure SILVER-ES and Neonix will back up as well since they're the ones directed me to it and I like it as well.

i have used zaino .. and mequires ... i still use mequires ... when used right you can get the same results as with the other stuff ... (its all in the prep work and products you use) ...

i am not knocking zaino ... at all ... was a good finish ... but after using both .. i couldn't see a difference between the car i was using it on .. and the one i was using mequires on .. both had a mirror like smooth as glass shine ...

I only use Race Glaze leveling compound and polish/sealant. Best stuff ever; mirror shine that last long. The leveling compound is great for polishing after wet sanding or just removing acid rain stains and other paint defects. But its relativly expensive.

I use basic old Nu Finish. I like it because you don't have to absolutely bust your balls to get it off the car if it dries a bit too long. Twice a year with that and my car looks new.

As many others on this forum would suggest to you to do some research over at www.autopia.org

There you will find everything you need to know about polishing/waxing your vehicle.

Here is what I would recommend:

1) Wash Car (TWICE!)
2) Clay Bar entire car
3) If you car has swirls, and mild defects use a swirl removing polish. If your paint looks good use a car glaze(Meguiars #7).
4) Next you will need to use a sealant. There are plenty of sealant out there (Meguiars #26).
5) Finally you can put a coat of Carnauba WaxA to really make your car stand out.

That really is the technical way to detail the paint, but you can just by a three step process. Meguiars offers the Deep Crystal System which is a three step process. Which products you buy depend on how extensive of a job that you would like.

I really like Turtle wax 100% carnauba. Just a little side note, since I have a white NEON and I'm always picking up little spots of tar and other road grime that washing alone wont get off. I've found that turtle wax has a Bug & tar remover (liquid) works great for taking it off. Then I use the 100% carnauba.

Meguiars paste. I only wax my car once or twice a year, it seems to do well.

I think I may clay bar the car this year, see how that works. Never done that before.

i have used the mothers clay bar system...it is the best thing ever, i work at a foundry and have metal fallout that lands on the car in the surrounding area. They have made effort to make that better but we still get it on our cars. The clay bar is the shit lol.

I have been using Eagle 1 with the nano tech stuff. It comes in spray, squeeze bottle, and a paste. Got all three for 10 bucks each. Plus right now I think that they are doing a buy one get one free. Stuff works great. But remember the quality of shine is how long you want to spend on it. Me 2 hours.

i use meguiars liquid tech wax. i love it because it doesnt leave any of that white powder behind when you go to wipe the wax back off. leaves the car with a nice deep looking color.,and a real glassy looking gloss. also gets rid of almost all swirl marks. i love it :D

decent pic couple days afer using the wax.....

^^^
I use the same here, easy to apply, easy to remove, deep rich shine!

Note - For those using claybars, remember, its like wet sanding your car, do not stay in one spot for too long or you will ruin the paint.....
